The District Museum in Tarnów prepared an exceptional offer for music fans and enthusiasts of Jan Kochanowski's works.
During the concert called „Jan Kochanowski – music and poetry" that took place in the Castle in Dębno, the group called CAMERATA CRACOVIA performed with Krzysztof Globisz, an exquisite actor known from many cinema and television films as well as theatrical plays.
The Early Music Ensemble CAMERATA CRACOVIA was established in 1987. It was founded by Ireneusz Trybulec who plays a lute. „Camerata Cracovia" plays renaissance and baroque music using old instruments. The performing members of the Ensemble vary depending on the repertoire needs. The Ensemble's programme includes early Polish music, little known and not published before, as well as music of other Slavic countries from those times and also works documenting links within this scope between Poland and various other European countries.
So far, the Ensemble has performed in most of the historical places in Poland where concerts and festivals are organised, as well as abroad: in Germany, France, Great Britain, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova and Lithuania. The Ensemble recorded also television broadcasts.
For 7 years, „Camerata Cracovia" has been implementing a cultural project supported by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation called Music of old Europe – Germany and Poland, showing relations in the field of music between those countries in old times. Its consummation was a CD called Polish-German music relations (1999). In 1997, the Ensemble released its first CD called Music in early Poland and in 2003, a CD called Jan Kochanowski – Poetry and Music was released which was recorded by Ireneusz Trybulec, using only a lute, together with actors – Anna Dymna, Jerzy Trela and Jan Korwin-Kochanowski. „Camerata Cracovia" also popularises the poetry of Jan Kochanowski abroad by cooperating with foreign actors who read Jan Kochanowski's poems during concerts from old translations into foreign languages.
